Dallas, Vancouver, and Winnipeg deals are best for us here. I'd be interested in taking a contract back too to maximize value with the hope Jake will re-sign with that team

I also like that Vegas deal. The Florida teams don’t have a first to offer for two years and I think that’ll take them out. Vancouver adding Lindholm most likely takes them out and Winnipeg probably could t extend Jake, so I think that’s a lot for a rental. Vegas could be our best bet or Dallas if Marchment came back.

I think the best plan is to trade Jake + anyone we can at this deadline and then enter the rebuild. I don't see us contending next year or big name free agents wanting to sign with us given the spot were in

That was my point. He's out 2-4 weeks... so that really could put a damper on what we get for him.

I don’t see that at all? In those deals each team is sending us 4 plus million back in cap.

Dallas should be thanking us for getting them the franchise... once they got embarrassed in '91 by the Pens, they Hightailed it south out of Minnesota. LOL

Any of those deals I would take for the Pens. Most of the local media still thinks that the plan is for the Pens to keep and sign Jake...I don't know.

Big question does Brisebois or Zito hangs up laughing faster? Zero chance Florida trades Lundell. So, the answer to my question is probably Zito ,but not by much. Thompson is NHL ready going to be real good, Howard was a very recent first progressing well.

Looking more closely everyone is overpaying Guentzel a hell of a player ,but he's not Wayne Gretzky and these are Gretzky to kings returns minus the cash
