Tampa Bay accepts but Columbus isn't trading Marchenko for that. Sheary takes at least a 3rd just to dump.

Big no from LA, Moore is a very team friendly contract. If LA is going for a goaltender it will be Vezina caliber not someone who is putting up .899 SV%

Doubt LA says yes to that. I personally love Moore as a player and would love this deal but he is quite good for them, they lose this trade.
No way Calgary does that either, Wolf is nearly if not completely untouchable

Other 2 trades say no from the Jackets

Calgary is giving up 3 of the 4 most valuable assets here, while trading away there future in net, and Current net guys, one of which(the future) is 100% not available for a team that is obviously going through a retool. Also trading away 2/3 NHL caliber goaltenders in the organization, with not many big names for now or future available in the draft. Absolutely horrible for CGY

Calgary would move Markstrom if the right trade showed up, MAYBE move Wolf if they got offered a massive overpay, but both, never. And not for that

Moore -- Danault -- Arvidsson/Fiala have been our most effective and consistent line since January 1, 2023. That's right, 2023, not 2024. We won't be trading him unless you don't like Zeev Buium at 4th overall.

It would be cheaper to buy Elvis out.

...No one is going to really mention the Sheary/Marchenko swap? That's easily the most ridiculous part of this thing.

Yeah, of these, I think Columbus would only do the LA trade, but the Kings surely wouldn't. If Merzlikins yielded a pick in return without retention, I think Columbus would trade him without question.

Regarding the Calgary trade: Columbus need goaltending, yes, but it's probably easier and less costly for them to get Knight from FLA or a UFA. They are not going to give up Johnson for an up-and-down goalie like Markström or an unproven one like Wolf.

Regarding the Philadelphia trade, it's probably not the right time to trade Tarasov.

Concerning the Tampa trade, that just favours the Lightning very heavily. Marchenko is one of Columbus' most promising young forwards. They are not trading him without getting something very good in return.
