Why would they re-sign Skjei? Slavin and Orlov play LD, Burns, Morrow play right, and whoever on the cheap free agent market can play 3rd pairing. Necas Guentzel and Jarvis combined won't make 30 million. Maybe 20, depending on a Jarvis bridge deal.

Pesce's not coming back, his dad has confirmed that, Skjei makes no sense to bring back because Orlov's here. People just forget Orlov exists. Morrow takes a spot on the backend full time, and the third pairing can be whatever. It doesn't really matter because after next deadline, Nikishin will come across. if necas could play center as well as suzuki, he'd be playing center right now. Just as these offers for him are low balls saying he can play center so including suzuki in the deal coming back is ludacris.
