Nothing of value in the Zegras offer. Start with a piece that hurts to loose, not spare parts, and you'll be on the right track.

Bruins pass. Dvorak is good defensively but we could go acquire someone like blueger/ Wennberg in UFA that do the same thing for free.

Would rather just target Stephenson/ Lindholm in UFA and then you get a better offensive and defensive forward as a whole.

Canucks decline. No interest in Matheson, we already have two players who fill the same role but are better and younger in Hughes and Hronek. Matheson produces well because he gets top ice time and PP time in Montreal, in Vancouver he'd be 2nd/3rd pair with zero special teams time, which would cause him to fall off massively and not produce nearly as much. There's also the history with Pettersson, so a pretty easy no to Matheson ever wearing a Canucks jersey just based off of that, let alone the fact that he isn't a fit for this team in the slightest.

How is this Zegras trade still being posted? Just like the other 300 times it’s been proposed, ANA will decline without a second thought

Here's the state of Edmonton trading for d-man right now,

Just ask yourself this question "Is this d-man a clear upgrade over Cody Ceci.", if he is then we will gladly hear you out! If not then we have no interest.

Savard is not a clear upgrade, Habs fans can argue he's minimally better but especially with his injury concerns Edmonton has no interest

Anaheim already owns Edmonton's 2024 first plus pick #35, so how much of an extra mitzvah do you think that the Winnipeg choice will be, even though it will be earlier than the Oilers'?

Similarly, Anaheim already owns an "extra" 2024 second, which has the advantage of time over the Pittsburgh choice, plus two thirds in that draft, so the last element in that offer won't make Pat Verbeek swoon, either.

I can guarantee you that the forward selected with Anaheim's own 2024 first will be a better prospect than Sean Farrell, or the defenseman selected with Anaheim's own 2024 first will be a better prospect than Justin Barron, so as my esteemed friend says, what is there in that offer that would persuade us to give you a top-6 forward whose production is the same as Cole Caufield's? You yourself don't think that either of those youngsters merits more than a near-League-minimum deal for his second contract.

CGY has too many depth D and prospects fighting for the 4-7 spots next year: Miromanov, Kylington, Pachal, Hanley, Okhotiuk, Solovyov, Poirier, Kuznetsov, Jurmo, and Grushnikov.

I don't see a trade happening unless they're all bad at training camp.

Pay premiums for secondary players that helped Montreal earn the 5th pick in the draft without giving up the 5th pick.

Boston may have interest in Harris if they can’t land a good vet defenseman after signing a forward in free agency

Stop it already. Calgary has no interest in Harris.
