Description

Before I start, I want to be clear that I’m a bruins fan and try to watch as much hockey around the league as I can. While I always watch highlights of every game, it’s hard to watch other games during the time slot of my bruins. That being said, when I do get to watch other teams, here is my list for most underrated player in each team.

The player doesn’t have to be a big time point producer, the player COULD be but these players just don’t really get a lot of buzz around the league. Let me know what you think or who you’d change.

Most? Did you read the list? I only really listed about 5-6 “star”players. All these players don’t get too much attention and do little things to help their team win.

The only guys who might not be considered underrated are Kyle Connor and Fiala because they probably got more attention this season. If that’s the case then I’d put Carson Soucy or Jordan Greenway for Minnesota

I'd say parayko is almost overrated at this point. Perron would be my st Louis pick.
I think Ellis is appropriately rated. I'd pick bonino or jarnkrok.
You could've picked literally anybody on Carolina and probably Florida too

I almost went with Bonino but I’m just huge fans of Ellis and Ekholm, what they do for Nashville is tremendous

And yeah it was very hard to choose for Florida and Carolina. I almost said MacKenzie Weegar for Florida and Brock McGinn, Warren Foegle, Brett Pesce for Carolina

There was a lot of options on Carolina, but I don't think Slavin was the right option. There's a lot of players who could be considered (Pesce, Staal) but the player I'd have chosen is Teravainen. It's crazy how he's the quietest point per game player in the NHL. People think Carolina, they think Aho, Svechnikov. Teuvo always flies under the radar.

Agree with both Bluejackets...Dubois & Murray.
I would assert that Bjorkstrand is even more underrated, if that's possible.

PLD Takes shifts off... Bjorkstrand is the underrated one, he was the best forward on the team this year, PLD has the points and was in the highlights... Bjorkstrand is great in his own zone and was alway dangerous offensively. The other one is Nuttivaara who was one of Columbus best defenseman last year.
