idk I don't like to block people on here because I do want to see as much as I can, and sometimes I do like what he he has to say. But when it comes to anything Marner related it gets quite tiresome seeing such laughable offers for a 23 year old 94 point player

Wouldn't even need to top 3 protect the 1st round pick, since this team would most likely make the playoffs.
I would hate losing Texier, because I think he is going to be extremely good center in about 3 years...Danault is a capable replacement at 2C and higher scorer than Wennberg.
Not to mention Foudy is going to be very good too and ready for 2C duty in a couple years time.
By 2021, Kirill Marchenko should probably be ready to join the team, another very highly touted prospect.

I've explained to you time after time how these types of packages benefit Toronto, but you refuse to listen and continue to undervalue the players the Leafs are getting. You have to understand that in a flat cap world, there won't be many teams willing to offer much more Marner. In this deal, they're getting a top 4 RD (Savard) to play with Rielly, a gritty power forward (Anderson), a talented young & a 1st. That's a lot of pieces making their roster more balanced.

Based on the stats, Marner is worth more than Werenski or Jones, but usually defenders are more important than wingers so Columbus doesn't do it.

I admit that some of my trades were bad, but not this one. This trade gives Toronto exactly what they need by filling the major holes within the roster.
