he is looking better than that. He looked like a 90+ point player last year too (people seem to forget he was on pace for that) but he looks a stud all around. Last year he looked disengaged sometimes despite his point totals but he's really been a complete player this year

Marner looks like a 125 point player, him and Matthews could hit that number I bet in a 82 game season, at this point you would be the number one cup contender if you had some goaltending. I like those 2 alot hate the rest of the team but Marner and Matthews I like 2 watch.

What would you want in an Eichel trade. This forum supremely overrates him IMO. But what would you want in a trade

Not a Sabres fan, but I'm starting with Monahan and the 2021 and 2022 firsts. Eichel would be the guaranteed 1C through his tenure, while Monahan and whatever the picks end up as may not equal his value.

I'm no Sabres fan, but I'd be going full (yet hopefully quick) rebuild around Dahlin and Cozens. I'd be looking for nearly ready prospects and picks, as well as a good player or two.

I think it's gotta be more, too. The draft picks are good b/c BUF is basically restarting their rebuild anyways, but I think they're gonna want another young roster player like Dube or Mangiapane.

Eichel isn't so good that he can carry a team like McDavid or MacKinnon. He needs supporting cast! A decade of terrible UFA's and mediocre-bad drafting has taken its toll on BUF. It's easy for me to say trade Eichel and rebuild from scratch, but he would become arguably the youngest and most talented Center to be traded since...Seguin? Eichel is way better than Seguin was or is now.

Haha and those are the 2 guys Brad Treliving least wants to trade lol. Both are identity players.
