I just want the PIT/NYI game to end in regulation. I don't wanna play whack a mole in trying to find channel for the MN/VGK game.

For Lightning Fans

What kind of player is Jan Rutta for you guys? I don’t get to watch much of him or the Lightning but everytime I do he looks terrible but again I don’t watch him much. Is he the reason you guys dressed 7 D tonight?

IMO Pageau should have gotten a penalty for pushing Dumoulin into the boards.

Looked just awkward more than penalty worthy.

Why? Vegas is a good team, and a 2-0 deficit isn’t insurmountable. A lot of Stanley Cup champions were down 0-2 in a series before winning the series.

It's a Quinville coached team tho. And they were all over Tampa for large parts of that game Vasy just came up clutch.

Down 2-0 going to MN where they've never won in 5v5. They only beat MN once all year in regulation.

I wonder how many teams will attempt to trade for him next offseason

While Vegas would be hesitant to lose him (especially with how well he has done) 7mill in cap space to spend on a cheaper backup and other assets is not necessarily a bad thing in this flat cap era.

$7m is a lot for most team right now. The 10 team NTC will make him very hard to trade unless he agrees to it.

Regular Season results hold little weight in the playoffs though. The Rangers beat the Canes every time in the Regular Season last year before getting swept, it’s pretty much a new season. Although I do agree if they lose tonight they are in a big hole.

Florida is in a tough spot. Down 2-0 and all the momentum with the Lightning, headed to Tampa Bay. I predicted the series go to 7, but I think there's a chance Tampa sweeps or beats Florida in 5

Tampa is such an elite team. They know how to win in the playoffs. FLA is pretty much done.

Yup. Tampa is not losing 4 out of 5 games in the playoffs. Just not happening. They're better in every facet of the game.

Just returned to Tampa from Sunrise. If the fan in the parking lot after the game who told me the Panthers have won 4 Cups is a Capfriendly user I hope you sobered up and got home okay.

He's a cheap option who's able to play with Hedman. Cernak with McDonagh provides better roster balance and Savvy and Hedman just didn't click. I think Rutta is okay, but he's never great. Rutta provides better mobility while Schenn is more physicality and defense. When both are active Tampa has a pairing option for Hedman for any given situation.

Colorado is a dominant force. I don't think anyone other than a fully healthy TBL can beat them. STL is a big strong physical team and they're getting thoroughly dominated.

They definitely look like the way too early to call front runner. St. Louis has done alright when they are able to get down low and work the cycle on them, but the Avs speed overwhelms them too often. I think they are beatable but I'm not going to bet against them the way they are going right now.

Ay so how do we feel about Kadri just being suspended for the rest of the playoffs?

Completely hypothetical, but there's a reason Kadri and Round 1 suspensions are a meme. Predatory hit, isn't getting the memo, and this is like the third strike. DoPS has been an absolute farce this year and it'll seem bogus to Avalanche fans, but there's no better time than now to do a complete 180 and start addressing the internal failures and make the right call here.

Colorado will understand the pain we had to go through with him during the playoffs for 2 YEARS!!!

Like if he did not get suspended he would have still been a leaf. But for 2 series in a row he did a stupid move (like he did with faulk) and got his ass suspended

His temper sometimes gets the better of him

would not be surprised if the league suspends him the entire playoffs as when he got suspended the first time he was back by game 7, the second time out till round 2 (got suspended game 2) so yeah hes probs out till r3, maybe the finals, or the league might make an example out of him (hes a repeat offender) and suspend him for the rest of the playoffs.
