OK, for anybody who doesn't watch Dangle, his producer/editor ("Producer Drew") is an Avs fan. After the Leafs abolished Colorado last night 8-3, here was Dangle's recap edited by said Producer Drew. And I AM DEAD. tears of joy (Seriously, worth watching the whole thing)

Tonight I learned that the Caps have individual goal songs for each player, and that TJ Oshie's is...John Denver's "Country Roads" (a.k.a. "Take Me Home"). TJ Oshie is officially a legend.

So I immediately create a claim to drop Hall and grab Robertson, and all I had to do was bid ONE MORE STINKING DOLLAR!!! And now Robertson will tear it up the rest of the year. DARN. IT.

Bobcat’s Post Game Notes, Game 21

Jackets lose, 3-2 against the Dallas Stars.

-Elvis and Korpi were both out, so we gave Daniil Tarasov a little test drive. He didn’t do too bad in his debut. 34 saves ain’t nothing to scoff at.

-Alexandre Texier is currently on pace for 27 goals. I’d love for him to hit that number, but whatever you do, Lars, DO NOT separate that fourth line. It’s one of our biggest bright spots, and I wouldn’t mind if you brought it up a line.

-started out a bit shaky, with Jason Robinson scoring on Tarry in like the first minute, but it turned out ok until the end.

-a short attention span, migraine issues and “waking up to a loss after going to sleep winning” are the three biggest f*ck yous life has ever given me.

Yep, guy is an absolute legend. I have yet to meet someone that hated TJ Oshie.

Couple other gems are Ovechkin's "Shake, Rattle, and Roll". and Nic Dowd's "You can call me Al"

the ideal CBJ scenario (in my eyes):

-at the trade deadline, unload Laine for draft picks and prospects, and Bemstrom for whatever we can get from him

-Finish the year 5th-6th in the Metro, missing out on a playoff spot (we cannot make the playoffs in this bloodbath of a division)

-Chicago finishes 3rd in the league and loses both lotteries, giving us the 3rd overall pick

-Hope to god whoever is second (either Montreal or Ottawa) loses their minds and passes on Simon Nemec

-our original pick ends up in the early- to mid-teens, the perfect spot to select Filip Mesar or Rutger McGroarty

-Select a goalie with one of our mid-round picks

-sign Boqvist and Roslovic to bridge deals, sign the two kids, and keep this core as intact as possible

-Be ready for the next year

yeah, he wouldn't be available. He's been going off as of late with that 4th line (which has to be eligible for a nickname of some kind. I've heard it called the "99 Problems Line" but i'm not sure if that would stick).

Actually scratch that, with Marchenko making the team he would be kinda stuck. Let Max go somewhere else.
