Very possible that all these trades don`t happen, but they are fair expect for Ben Chiarot HABS could add a 3rd pick in that deal.

Even at half retained, that's a ton for EDM to give up for Price. The risk involved with taking on a 34 yr old goalie with that much term is massive, no matter how good Price was in his prime.

If not Nashville someone will pay the price for Chiarot. Playoffs are different, you need a shutdown defenseman who will clear the crease and capable of putting the puck in the net.

Don't know why the good Oiler team would trade their starting goalie, for a guy who hasn't even played this year. The usual non appreciation of Oilers cap next season if you think the Oilers want to carry 8m goalie. Price 14 years in the NHL.....7 playoff round wins.

Chiarot is a 30yr old UFA and having no contract in place for next season does bring down his value. Maybe for Glass and a 3rd.

Maybe to another team that'd have room for Chiarot in the top four, but Glass would be off limits for a bottom pair rental. At most, I could see NSH bringing in someone like Brad Hunt or Mark Pysyk for a mid pick or B prospect, if they wanted to shore up the bottom of the roster.

Koskinen will not get them the CUP but Price will. I would rather see Price in oilers uniform winning the CUP rather than seeing another American team winning it.

Nashville shouldnt give up anything for Chariot, they have less than zero need for him, and that's before considering that chariot is in fact not good at all. He's always been the weak link in any half decent defence he was part of and people are going off the rails for him because Carey Price and Phil Danault put on a defensive clinic while he cross checked some dudes but got obliterated in shots and chances against. Hell, look at him this year without a goalie stopping everything or a C actually doing all the leg work on high end forwards.
Just because some silly GM like Holland is gonna give up a 1st for the cross checks doesnt mean he's good.
