There is no chance Anderson gets a 1st and high-end prospect

josh anderson won't return a 1st or high end prospect, certainly not both.

the trades fill needs for both teams. Anderson is hurt right but, wheeler is gone long term.
Columbus need a up grade on right D and someone to kill penalties. Just can't find a bad contact on Columbus to take back.

You don’t mortgage your future to fill holes this year, when your a middle of the pack teams, and especially small market teams that don’t have ufas coming to help at any point, all about the build until you can push all in and neither colombus or Winnipeg showing they are ready for a push. I don’t know colombus that well but Winnipeg needs team controlled talent in the worst way to remain relevant.

I'd have to do the WPG trade, but they aren't doing it. I'm okay with keeping Anderson.

The only other ones I'd do are the rentals because they have to go somewhere for something, even if the return isn't great.

Doesn't change the fact that the value of his contract is still suspect

Perfetti is likely untouchable and definitely is for the player offered here.

I saw him play and while I like Anderson and am a Habs fan asking for that much I ridiculous. Anderson isn't going to bring back more than a 2nd + prospect who projects to be a middle 6 forward or bottom 4 D

Columbus isn’t in a position to make that trade, they want to get younger and kind of rebuild/retool the team, not trade for older players who really don’t fit the teams timeline.

LMAO it’s gonna take a lot more than Anderson to get Perfetti, nevermind us adding a first

Jets decline. They need that quality ELC to field a good and cap compliant roster next season.

In terms of Wheeler, Jets said he is out weeks (not months) as its a rehab situation not a surgery one.

Yea I'm sure Winnipeg will be bending over backward to give up the equivalent of 2 first-round picks for a guy who had a good 20 game stretch and has done f*cking nothing otherwise

Oh and btw, he had 5 goals in the playoffs. Not exactly the slam dunk you thought that was

You really believe one of the top prospects in the league AND a first round pick is worth a return of a second line winger at best?
