So apparently Jack Campbell was not on the list when it came to considering who would be the goalies going to the Olympics. So not even the #4 or 5 option lul.

So I wonder how ****ing good did he have to play to make the list lul.

Good thing for him is NHL players aint going to the Olympics

I mean it’s not that surprising. He’d only been the 1A for less than 20 games because he only stole the lead job partway through last year, and he was backed by the best team in a weak division, and then proceeded to not win the first round (not his fault, but he didn’t clutch up either). His track record was not really that good. A career backup finally moving into a tandem role at 28 isn’t exactly a no-brainer for the USA. Hellebuyck/Gibson/Demko were no-brainers, and the last two spots were probably 2 of Knight (young up and comer who everybody had pegged as the breakout candidate), Bishop (Vezina calibre if healthy), Quick (veteran), or Petersen (young goalie taking the reins as the 1A, which is more appealing than an older goalie doing the same). There really wasn’t much reason to have him on the long list. I would have gone with Hellebuyck/Gibson/Demko/Knight/Bishop personally. And I don’t think that all NHLers not going to the Olympics is “good for him” lmao

Bellows has 11 pts in 34 career games averaging 4th line minutes. All of his points at 5v5. No PP time despite that being his biggest strength. Everyone assumes he’s a bust because he hasn’t gotten a fair shot, he can definitely be a 2nd liner who puts up 20-25 G , 45-50 Pts. I bet he could be had for a 3rd rd pick , possibly less.

Really? People missed that? I mean, not to sound obnoxious, but of course it's both a landscape+bear head. That's the point, isn't it? Because they're both "Wild?" (Also should be noted if people haven't noticed it that the mouth of the bear doubles as a river for the forest)

A lot of people don't notice. I didn't for a few years after I started watching hockey. Of course it's the point and the intention of the person who created it, but how many NHL logos do you see that with? It's an easy thing to miss if your brain initially just sees the landscape. You just accept it for what it is and don't care to look any further.

Good thing we didn't. Ever since he was moved to top 6 LW, he has been so much better then when he played as our 3c. Honestly would not shock me if he gets back to 40 points.

I mean it does differ a bit, playing with Tavares and Nylander instead of the likes of Ritchie and Kase lol. If he doesn't get 40 points with these guys it would be a disappointment.

Yep, but still during his time as a 3c he was with Engvall and Mikheyev. So I often give him a break as these guys are a tad inconsistent

With Ritchie and Kase got to think he would do better as both those guys be better than the guys above. RN I think 35-45 points is in the realm of possibility but either way been pretty happy with his play.
