He could have lowered his demands, added picks, and probably still came out of it with a better team and more cap space.
Larsson might be the only contract from the top of their lineup that was worth signing. At least cap dumps would have prevented him from spending some of that money.

After around 50 pages we create a new thread because if a thread is too big it slows down the site or something like that

Yep, you will notice on page 50 someone will link a new one named, here we go again or another one or something that lol. normally when BeterChiarelli gets on he will lock down this thread and we move to the next 1. Make sure to follow the new one each time, top right!

I can't believe the capitals traded siengenthaler for a 3rd rd pick. He had a solid impact for the caps and now on NJ his defense is on par with Adam Pelech.


I wish we could have gotten more but they had to trade Siegenthaler. Fehervary coming up meant he was expendable and was never going to get back onto a Laviolette lineup unfortunately. I’m just happy he’s being unlocked somewhere else.

bratts the safer pick but if your a cap team thats going for the cup id rather have terry at $1.5m for this season and next than having to re-up bratt this offseason.

I doubt it, Terry has had great underlying numbers in the past , he was due for a breakout. His ATOI is up 3 min from last season and he playing a bigger role on the PP. He’s a much better player than comtois.
