my god, I think Jimmy boy forgot to take his pills this morning, he forgot that the Oilers had the fourth pick and Matthews went first

Dang it’s like the time when Toronto missed out on McDavid and drafted Marner instead. How could they forget to pick someone like that???

Could you have imagined what Anderson could've gotten at the deadline if he originally signed a 2 year 5.5 million dollar contract? Im thinking something similar to what Brandon Hagel got. 1st + 1st round caliber prospect.
What do you think?
Woudl the habs even have traded him?

probably not, hagels younger, cheaper and under team control when his contrect expires. not that its a total indicator but he also has more goals and points too

No he would not get a deal like Hagel. If he can’t get two firsts right now, he can’t get two firsts if he has more term left on his contract. If somebody is worth 2 firsts, their value would be higher if they have more term

Anderson’s definitely the kind of guy teams love and will overpay for, idk about 2 1sts but he’d definitely have gotten 1st+ from a GM ( not saying it’s fair value btw )

I wonder what their jerseys are gonna be, the Pens should remaster that Blue Jersey from like 10 years ago, I have no clue what the Bruins should they have already used so many of their Ood designs

No. Because his contract might be too long and too much.
Anderson 50% retained on a 1 year deal is better for the team

I HATED that blue jersey. Stick to your color scheme.

The Bruins should go with their all yellow reverse retro from Lake Tahoe last year.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it-Pens normal jerseys are pretty good, those alternates are miserable

Rookie season: 0.34 PPG
Sophomore season: 0.55 PPG

Alexis Lafrienere
Rookie season: 0.38 PPG
Sophomore season: 0.35 PPG

Hughes improved from year 1 to year 2. Lafrienere didn't. Idk how a 18 year old struggling in the NHL is "concerning"

I can probably only talk for the Canucks trade but I really don’t see what the Habs have to offer for Boeser. Barron is somebody the Canucks would push for but the Habs would definitely not move him. I think Boeser likely goes to New Jersey, Pittsburgh, or LA
