Dk who posted that, but I can tell u that Anderson isn't even close to the starting piece for #2. Caufield or Suzuki are only pieces I'd even consider

Lmao what is that Ottawa trade? Dvorak is expensive and isn't top 6 in Ottawa, and none of this gets you close to a top 15 pick, let alone 7th overall.

Add Caufield to the trade

That’s the only way you’re getting 2nd pick

ottawa declines

Ottawa would decline faster than Rihanna would turn me down for sex.

But let's look at it deeper to see how bad that proposal is :

Mark Kastelic : prototypical 4th line center, 23 y/o, will be cheap for years, no point for Ottawa to trade him. Seriously, it would take at least a late 2nd round pick (EDM) to convince me and I'm not even that motivated to do that

I wouldn't give up more than a 5th round pick (BOS) for Josh Brook, and even then I know there's absolutely no point doing that. We're letting fast and cheap 23 y/o Victor Mete go as a RFA. Mete has 236 more NHL games than Brook and is exactly 1 year older. Let that sink in.

So after removing these parts, why would the Sens move their 7th OA pick for Christian freaking Dvorak and a 2nd round pick when they might buy out a similar player in Colin White

That is insanity
