Its the kings its to be expected

Kings were the weakest team going in the playoffs.

Surprised they made it to 7 without Doughty and Arvidsson. But Quick almost got back into his 2013 form

As lets be honest it should have been Vegas over LA but injuries and shootouts killed them lul.

Kings could use some offense. Luckily for them, JT Miller is available for the cheap cheap price of 5 first round picks and half their RHD prospect pool

Honestly, I think what the Kings need most is some time. They have a metric crap tonne of young talent, and if half of it lives up to promise they'll be badass soon enough.

Mike Smith has been a top 3 goaltender in the playoffs, Ceci with the game winning goal in game 7. I think Holland deserves an extension.

Something I would like to see is NHL to return to the old seeding system but with East and West hypothetically playing against each other from the get go. Like East No. 1 facing West No. 8 and so on.

Our first round that way would've looked like

FLA - NSH
COL - WSH
CAR - DAL
MIN - PIT
TOR - LA
CGY - BOS
STL - TB
NYR - EDM

I think there would've been lots of great series in there as well.

They need time and some more experienced pieces

Losing Doughty was rough

I feel adding Chycrun to that blue line and maybe Nylander for the forward core will make them a serious threat

But it all will come down to Peterson as man did he look rough and he was supposed to be the starter over Quick. Not a good look for LA rn

Predicted BOS to beat Canes and Oilers to choke against LA. But those were my odd shouts anyway.

I feel the NHL should look at re-aligning divisions

One division should not be a slug fest where all teams are strong and then another where you got one OP team and the other 7 are bottom feeders.

Maybe they should consider a division lottery. Every year having different divisions.

Honestly I feel that would be a tonne of fun

Every year a new set of teams to play against

Basically no team would get the drop on the other as you would constantly be in a new division the following season
