Every time the Leafs say Muzzin to LA, they are agreeing that Muzzin and the poster believe that LA has a better chance over the next two years of winning a cup than Toronto. And we thank you all for that. We still decline.

Stop trading Muzzin to LAK, have you not seen any other ACGMs over the last month?

Detroit counters with a 4th in the Mrazek deal, and declines the Simmonds trade.

No need for Holl so the Jets would have no interest.

i have to admit, your plan of making so many questionable, easy-to-decline trade offers was almost enough to gloss over the fact that you signed Claude Giroux to a $1M cap hit.

Almost enough, but not quite.

Naz 6M, Campbell 3.4M, Giroux 1M!? $ amount is off for these contracts.

DET is also not swapping a 2nd for a 1st to take on Mraz. Needs to be a mid pick or switch out the 1st with other picks and prospects if you think it’s too much.

I'm curious, why would abruzzese be worth a second. I'll hang up and listen.

If Detroit accepted the first trade it would only be to buy out Mrazek and upgrade to a first. No interest in the other trade.

The value of a second-half second in 2024 is not much greater than a second-half third one year earlier, so that trade is essentially a young developing LW on his second contract following his ELC and under team control for at least 3 more years for a veteran on a $5.625 million cap hit for two years. We'll go with youth.

Finally a Mrazek to Detroit deal that makes sense.

Why do Leafs ACGMs always trade their cap dumps to a former team who doesn’t want them? Muzzin to LA, Mrazek to Detroit… Surprised that they didn’t send Simmonds to Philly.
