They also seem to have bad locker room/leadership issues, when your longtime coach resigns of his own free will, when your #2C informs the management two years before he's due to hit the market that he won't re-sign (and additionally all but admitting he wants out already), and when your #1C is putting in zero effort defensively, joking about concussing another player into oblivion and challenging him to a fight the first time they play each other after the hit, and in general coming off as a complete blowhard, it affects the rest of the team. I hope Kyle Connor and Cole Perfetti-the two players on the team that I genuinely like-get out of there ASAP.


i suspect something is up. maybe it's just the location. i wont read too much into dubois wanting out since it seemed like he wanted the same thing in columbus.

That’s fair but isn’t fantasy based on how well the player produces IRL? I don’t see how being older will have him produce less than the younger guys

PNHLE takes into account age and the league you play in. A 20 YO who puts up .8 PPG in the AHL likely has a better future in the NHL than a 22 YO who pts up 1 PPG.

Yeah probably because he’s older than most prospects. Extremely underrated. Was on the AHL rookie team and nobody talked about him. His ceiling is a Quinn Hughes lite as a second pair d man

It's either Josh Bailey for a ransom or Beauvillier for a pair of seconds, seeing that it worked really well last time.

Wondering if the cost to cap dump this offseason has gotten so expensive, to where GM's are trying to make those trades before they announce their signings and go over the cap, to try to dump at a lower cost. Looking at Lou, Jim Nill, and Dubas (Sandin deal).

If he's not getting consistent NHL time this year he's on course to become the next Jeremy Bracco

I would be. There's going to be a very limited intersection of teams that can afford Pageau and teams that are a part of his M-NTC.

I just believe he’s market value is above his on ice impact because he has a great reputation. Isles would have to take a contract back (in the 2-3 mill range) but it’s possible

One completely random player that confuses me is Andrew Poturalski

He has played 204 games in AHL in last four years or so and has scored 221 points during that time. Yet he's only played two (2) NHL games. And he's PPG in those two as well.

This all seems just inexplicable to me. Why on earth hasn't he got a proper chance in NHL? He's definitely been good enough for the chance imo.

Maybe now in Seattle he could actually have a chance.
