I wouldn’t trade Josh Bailey and Kyle Palmieri for JT Miller. If you think he’s worth Raty and a second than you are out of ur mind. What a joke!

The Isles are not taking on Miller's contract and not moving Raty.

We are not spending a 2nd on two pending UFA depth defensemen.

Try again.

Why is Tanner Pearson always traded to Detroit? Is he related to Yzerman or the Ilitch family? Adam Erne is Yzerman's son so he won't be traded.

Not even close. I've seen much worse. This is about a 1/10 for CFACGM gaslighting. Sorry to tell you.

No way buffalo considers that. Buffalo has plenty of wingers with more recent first rounders coming. I would think, best case scenario, you get the equivalent of a late first at the deadline, but not from buffalo.

COL isn’t trading premium resources for a rental. That’s a no.

Not even gonna comment on the value in the JT Miller trade, just gonna mention that every potential UFA in the league is gonna see you trading a guy that you *just* extended and gave an NTC before that clause kicks in. Not really a great way to generate some good feelings with guys you might want to pursue in the future!

You're really undervaluing Boeser. I'd say Ostlund+2nd.
Leafs trade and Sens trade are terrible for Canucks. Our defense is so bad, we desperately need Myers. Schenn is a keeper as well. Both guys stick up for the younger guys. Also, why trade Kuzmenko?

I was going to say the opposite.

Yeah, two firsts is pretty hefty. I would say Horvat(50% retained)+3rd/4th+C-tier prospect for Alex Newhook

No. COL isn’t trading Newhook they aren’t removing one of their few team controlled guys, they aren’t trading their 23 1st, Behrens or Olausson for a straight rental. They can’t re-sign Horvat. COL did their big push in last year that emptied the cupboard (they traded a 1st, 2 2nds a 3rd, a 5th and their top 3 defensive prospects). Just don’t see COL doing that for Horvat. I could see a play for a winger that would be a cheaper price, because I also think COL management is accruing space so they don’t have to pay a premium on retention.

Detroit passes, Adam Erne has actually been useful again, And Pearson is a complete waste.

U think you’d get Savoie for Boeser??
Lololololol
No chance, none

Boeser gets hurt every year, & we value Savoie as a center, which Boeser is not

Zero chance

I’m fully aware of that it doesn’t make it any better really for COL. They can’t throw prime assets away for a pure rental. If there were someway to keep Horvat and the core of the existing team sure, I think it’s a reasonable fair deal probably one of the first turned into a lower pick and a prospect added, COL just can’t do a pure rental.
