VGK clears out a contract spot so i guess its a win for them unless hayes becomes the next scott morrow who is rumoured to become the next cale makar

Going to guess it's more about Vegas having an open contract spot than about an AHL defender.

Don't think it's to claim Peterson though, just so the option is available.

I mean it wouldn't be a loss if he can be had for cheap. There's nothing in court yet if you're talking about that so I don't see him being invalid to play in the NHL

This Future Considerations guy must have some serious upside. He was part of the last deal between these two teams, must've been dropped to waivers.
