Does Demers give Edmonton the best defense in the NHL? I would say yes.

Are Edmonton's bottom six forwards now the best in the NHL? I would say yes.

Does Campbell + Demers make Edmonton Stanley Cup favourites? I would say yes.

Depth. He's been a good veteran presence in Bakersfield on an AHL PTO, but that has an expiry date of this week, hence the signing. Probably won't see much NHL time. He's at 699 career games though, so it would be nice if he could get 1 more.
