Lordy.

Adding salary on LTIR does nothing to reduce dead weight cap hits from buyouts.

MIN trade should be deleted or reworked.

You don't understand LTIR if you think Price helps Minni (or anyone). Anderson and his 3rd line play at 5.5m X 4 full years is not wanted by any team including Hab fans.

It's clear that you don't know how the LTIR list works, but more importantly, how does ADDING Josh Anderson's hideous $5.5 million cap hit "help them with their cap problems"?

You didn't think this one through very well did you, it's evident by the fact that L.A. is looking to move a RHD cause they have too many and you sent Savard back.

Why would literally any opposing team make any of these trades? I really want to hear the rational behind how these are fair deals . Ask yourself this, if the roles were reversed would the habs make any of these deals? Obviously not.

At the peak of Mount Bad, one stands alone, and that's the Wallstedt trade. Minnesota taking a dead goalie, a crappy 2nd and a crappy power forward for their premier goalie prospect? Yeesh.

Sabres trade makes sense for us
We could use a good 2way center
And even though Portillo is a really good goalie prospect, we’d still have Levi & UPL has been looking good for us as well

I think the Sabres would do it

Minnesota is gonna laugh at that trade proposal though
I can’t see any way at all they’d even consider something like that

Like others have said, you have a flawed understanding of LTIR and we are in no way considering trading our goalie of the future.

There are some instances where teams may prefer an LTIR contract. Price for Bobrovsky would (practically) free Florida of a contract, similar to how Weber for Dadonov allowed Vegas to unload an active contract in favor of an inactive one, just as one example. Not saying this is the right scenario with Minnesota, only that there are scenarios that may help a team.

Take the Vegas deal. Vegas gained absolutely nothing by taking on Weber LTIR. Vegas gained by getting rid of Dadonov.
As you suggest Price for Bobrovsly would free Florida. Just saying trading a player on permanent LTIR really doesn't help teams cap....except in circumstances where the getting rid of him for the team that has high has a very high performance bonus payout. Seabrook to Tampa was an example
