I think the Blues should continue concentrating on selling to teams in the East, especially ones that will be in some cap difficulties this summer. I think it's a good strategy. Maybe we can reclaim a couple of these UFAs on freebies.

Oh **** .... it just occurred to me Army now is in a great position to go get Chych. Getting rid of Leddy and/or Krug to clear the way is still a whole other matter. I hope he does not rush into this and overpay his protege.

Why has he been held out a week

I don't see RoR putting up good offensive numbers. He doesn't need to for the team to be successful and for the trade to be considered a W for the Leafs. He's gonna be judged by whether or not he can shut down Tampa's top players in the 1st Round and whether or not the team is successful. This deal makes too much sense. Let's see if it actually translates well on to the ice.

Gotta beat Tampa... and I don't really see that happening. They don't have the defense or goaltending to compete with them. They do now however have the centers to compete with them. Good thing they still have 2024 & 2025 1st round picks to get a top 4 defender or a starting goalie.
