Anderson

Florida 2023 1st round pick.
Center prospects
Wingers.

While PLD could be on his way out - WPG have some of the same surplus as us, and might want to rebuild.

Thus LHDs, Anderson and Dvorak might not be as interesting to them compared to other competing teams. So it could be interesting to flip asset to create value for WPG.

The trade below DO NOT represent a three-way trade... I'm way too lazy to figure one out!

But the idea is now out there.

If the Devils did decide to trade for grit, why would they trade their elite power forward?

LMAOOOOOOOOO. Timo is literally 6'1 220. Anderson is a cap dump with term. Meier price is at least 2 firsts. In conclusion add both your firsts this year and your first next year if you want your offer to be considered

All I really focused on was the Oilers trade. And I think they would absolutely do it, but I don’t think they take Rem Pitlick. There’s already a logjam on the left side and they have some young guys who are cheaper that deserve that opportunity. But even without Pitlick I think EDM does that deal. And this is coming from someone who really likes Skylar Brind’Amour

Zero chance the Jets want anything to do with Meier's $10 mil QO in a PLD deal, as he isn't resigning in Winnipeg, but NJ tells you to pound sand before that.

Thinking that an awful contract for a mediocre bottom sixer, a meh prospect and a 2nd gets a first line winger is mind boggling.

Devils are currently the youngest team in playoffs with plenty of cap space next year. No reason we start selling pieces off.

And even when we did stink, we didn’t take cap dumps.

I mean Hoff might be too 5 worse defensive forwards in the NHL. He basically a shot and that’s it. Possession numbers are terrible as well.

Jersey isn't doing that, their part of the trade is awful, Jets would absolutely love that insane return for PLD but Montreal also loses this trade, giving up too much just to get PLD in return. Conclusion Jets make out like bandits, Habs overpay for PLD and Jersey gets absolutely hosed, only team accepting is Winnipeg (no matter what Windjammer says)!!!

I mean I would gladly eat the million difference and keep Mantha. HOFF is one of the worst defensive players in the league while also being a terrible possession player. He can shoot and that’s about it

Edmonton already has 4 LHD under contract for next year: Nurse, Ekholm, Kulak and Broberg. They aren't in the market for another one.

Besides, Edmundson has known back issues (herniated disc) and is playing very poorly as a result. So nobody is going to give a 2nd for him even if they do need LHD.

Edmonton rejects the trade offer.
