Very optimistic indeed. If Whitelaw made it out of the 2nd, I'd be shocked. I would love to take him with one of the early 2nds. I've gotten to see him quite a few times when Youngstown has come to play the Capitals in Madison. Always a step above the rest. Plus he's committed to the Badgers, so I get to see him more

Caps pass.

For the purposes of this post I must reject your rejection. I am sure you are understanding of this matter.

He’s got a cool name, not sure about that other stuff but one thing I can hang my hat on is that I consistently predicted that the hawks would draft Alex Vlasic when and where they did. Maybe I can coax the currents of causality to converge in your favor.

If Murray comes back and we decide no buyout I wouldnt mind it

If his concussion makes it to where its just LTIR for the season then thats probs it. Or he goes for less as teams like Arizona like those deals.

Its a wait and see rn as I have no idea where he is. They say hes coming but concussions can be a ****

Mantha will stay in Washington if that's anywhere close to the cost of moving him. Caps would rather have Bonk and Mantha.

That BUF trade is not good. That 1st round of the draft would be great but the rest would be a failure, IMO. Then again, the draft order is completely up in the air right now. So, who knows who will be available and where.

Don't worry, Leafs don't even make the call so easy no from Toronto

Sabres absolutely pass on this. This trade makes absolutely no sense. Why would the Sabres give up a player that scored 28 goals and our first round pick position for two below average 1st round players who have proven nothing in the NHL and the 20th pick? I get that you are trying to be optimistic with this but this is not going to happen.
