From Pittsburgh’s perspective, 100%. I would’ve loved to see Bedard in Anaheim or San Jose. Anywhere but Chicago. Ugh.

A lot of these replies are classless and bitter. Had it not been Chicago I'm sure I would have been bitter as well. The classless part of it though? C'mon people, be better.

No matter where the #1 pick went, there would have been 15 other fanbases pissed and 16 others that don’t even have a say that would find a way to be mad too lol 😂

Beach ruined how own career. He was never really that good. He was like a Tkachuk without the talent. Also he wasn't a very good person to begin with. A big time bully in junior. Not that any of that excuses what Aldrich did, but let's not paint him as an innocent little child.
