I see the LHD if a little full, but Lindgren with Seider would be a great pair then signing a Severson for 2nd pair would be nasty top four.

I have no idea what they value either player at but you can skip the trade with the habs and just throw laf into the terry trade

Rangers trading Lindgren seems like a terrible mistake. The Devils beat down the lack of depth on the Rangers backend....making it worse seems...well...dumb

If I was Gorton and Hugues, I'd sign off on that Laf deal.

NYR would get a high 1st round pick, Gorton gets his choice back into MTL without sacrificing that 5th overall.

Walman and Seider were great when finally paired up. Edvinsson is ready, Maata re-signed. Chiarot is playing RD, Johansson probably gets some games this season. Wallinder, Buium are on their way, Sebrango and McIsaac are at the end of the trial run.

Now, with all of those LHD, and with several playing or experimenting with RD, the point still stands. Detroit is not parting with pick 40 and a 2.5M (with retention) 20 goal scorer for an add to a log jam.

This is insanity. If this was offered for Stutzle everyone would say that it's an insane underpay despite the fact that he has less even strength goals than Lafreniere even though Stutzle has been fed top line minutes since he entered the league. Regardless of what is going around in the clueless media, there's no chance Lafreniere would even be dealt for the both their 1sts AND Dach.

Dach isn't even half the player Lafreniere is. There is no comparison. Lafreniere has the most ESG in his draft class and the 2nd most on NYR since he entered the league despite working under two clueless coaches who constantly moved him around. Only Kreider has more. Would Detroit do this deal for Raymond, Ottawa for Stutzle? No chance. But because they landed on bottom feeders while Lafreniere went to a team with an NHL top 6, they have been put in positions to cash in on easier points than he has.

I'm on that rational judgement. None of those players are going to be as good as Lafreniere and definitely not in the timeframe NYR needs.

Florida's pick is going to be between 28th and 32nd. Can't get a lower 1st rounder than that...

You're going on some rants because someone put him in a trade, if you don't like what gpmack95 did, no need to go all out, just go to another AGM which suits more your ideas or comment respectfully here on the trade he's proposing with the mindset that it's a WHAT IF they wanted to trade him. LD is super full already, and Edvinsson, Johansson, and Wallinder aren't even on the team yet (all LD). Walman is also already a great pair for Mo. The Wings least needed position by far is LD
