He’s not. These “insiders” have a short self life. They post about every trade, get a couple right, people start following and then realize the guy is throw and stick. Volume rumours. Brodie is still one of the Leafs better Dmen and there is no replacement. Frank is trying to hard to remain relevant in today’s day and age of social media. Someone needs to tell Frank, sometimes, no rumour is the rumour.

It depends on windows; it’s not a good deal for Leafs imo because our window to win is now (yesterday actually). Without question nylander is the better player today but he’s also a pending FA. Mercer has potential to maybe be as good or better, and he has one year left on an elc contract, which holds a lot of value. I could see why the devils wouldn’t that trade, but as a Leafs fan - neither do I
