Yeah. It’s only for one year though so it isn’t a big deal long term. Can without $2 million to trade him to a cup team at the TDL for a pick.

Jk that makes no sense but I’m ready for a big hockey trade

It’s weird most the good fits for Willy I can think of are same conference: NYI, NYR, DET, OTT, Pitt

On the other side: maybe Seattle? Maybe the Jets? Maybe the Ducks? Idk. Most of the contenders have their top 6 established or don’t have room for random 9 million dollar addition or don’t have something jumping out to me as an obvious 1 for 1. I highly doubt for example stl would even entertain the aav needed to go forward.

It would be fun for a CGY-TOR trade but I don’t see it.

Is the Adin Hill contract a real situation or was that just rumors? I've not seen anything official yet. Friedman posted 2 x $4.9 AAV but nothing since then.

George McPhee said it "looks like its getting done" about Hill at the draft and that's the last I've heard. I'd guess the term and value are agreed on probably just ironing out details and salary/bonus structure.

What playoff team has interest in bringing in Corey Perry at 2 mil?

Part of the reason Perry would be so valuable to a contender would be because he's cheap. Going out to find a third team willing to retain 1 mil is going to be tough, and requires more assets.
