You can definitely count Detroit and Anaheim out, regardless of value (which is still bad).

We ain't getting that much for him. At the best a 2ND ROUNDER. I expect a 3RD.

I can't imagine that Petry would want to come to the West Coast, but if he did, I can't see us paying more than McGinn or the third for him, not both, never mind Pastujov.

Detroit laugh and passes, We're not trading Soderblom for 2 years of an aging Jeff Petry. Petry isn't waiving for Anaheim and Tampa can't afford him. From the sound of things he's probably Dallas bound.

I don’t think you considered the Ducks pov at all. He has 2 years on his deal and the ducks will not be competing those 2 years. No way in hell they trade Pastujov or a pick for 35 year old Petry.

Not to mention he refused to waive for us in the first place

Petry is negative value to ANA tears of joy Why would we give up anything more than we gave up for Kulikov last year (FC's)

It makes 0 sense for ANA to pay any asset for a guy like Petry

        Some very wishful thinking here

Even if TB had the space to do this they aren't paying 2- 2's for a 36 yo. Please don't be dumb enough to say one is for taking Myers as a cap dump he cost 250k buried that costs a 7 maybe.

They can't afford him either without a bad contract going back

Well yeah this would assume that Montreal is at least taking Faska back.

I'd love you to explain why TB would be interested? They have a logjam at RD. You may not think much of Raddysh but 25:13 TOI in the playoffs 2nd only to Sergachev says the coaching staff does. Besides Julien Brisebois in his end of season sit down interview on Lightning TV's "The Block Party" stated Darren has worked extremely hard to improve his skating and done everything we've asked of him to improve. Says to me upper management thinks highly of him too.Perbix had an excellent rookie year and RD is Syracuses' most heavily talented position Thompson,Schmidt, and Crozier all are just about NHL ready.

Yeah man, Pastujov may have been a third round pick, but he's worked his way up to be a top 10 prospect in our system. Neither him nor the pick would be moving for Petry.
