Something tells me that Bedard is gonna miss a couple of games with Chicago making this move after last night.

My guess is that he’s injured his jaw. He was grabbing his face after the hit, and I can’t imagine any other reason that he’d miss the rest of the game.

A body for Chicago (which they need with Bedard and Foligno going on IR), while Pittsburgh maybe gets an asset for a throw in from a previous trade

This is a fair deal Chicago gets a body because of Bedard and Foligno Out on IR long-term at least for Bedard, and Pittsburgh gets a pick

Chicago was desperate and they still were able to get an NHL player for just a 7th. Wow. Good trade.

'Filler' for injury not replacement. Even Edmonton went out and made immediate acquisitions on broken clavicle, right. Why not continue to find out about costs of Guenther or players like that??

Really depends on conditions (I'm guessing either upgrading pick or not getting pick based on certain conditions)

With the situation CHI is in, I think this is a win for CHI as they probably would've given more assets based on their situation.

Good deal IMO, has shown flashes of skill, hopefully he can become an NHL regular.

Without ever knowing what the condition on the draft pick is, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Pittsburgh wins.

Rem Pitlick had no trade value when he was traded to Chicago and Pittsburgh might end up receiving the draft pick eventually.
