The Jets aren't paying to help Toronto with their cap by taking on a bad contract.

Sharks definitely do that. And I think Rutta would be a great low-risk add for Toronto who's locked in for another year at a fairly low cap hit

Canucks pass very easily. Garland is better than Bertuzzi, we aren’t adding a good prospect in Raty + two depth prospects to downgrade

I won't act like he is worth more than that, but I'd be pretty sad to see Entwistle go.

The value is fine for the Jets trade, but the Jets don't make this trade IMHO. Just no need for a guy like Domi in our lineup. I think we're only in the market for a bonafide upgrade over Namestnikov at 2C, or a 13th forward type. Domi just doesn't represent an upgrade over Namestnikov as we speak today.

The one thing we can all count on your for is hating TO more than you like the Jets and you absolutely love the Jets. Lol a 3 million dollar rental is a bad contract. You have a lot of silly takes but this one is the best so far.

Kampf has hidden offense that nobody new about. He is going to be a point a game player on the 2nd line, he has been holding back just for this opportunity.

Canucks decline. They give up the better player, and add 3 prospects on top of that for what reason exactly?

wake up jammer, this is playoff scoring - probably on the wing
the contract expires at the end of this season
And for all you Namestikov fans, he's good until the hitting starts - check his playoff stats, invisible as Dmitri Kristoff in the second season

We have more than enough money to re-sign our rfa's we aren't giving up the best player in the trade plus prospects for nothing

Sure. Add Toronto's 24 1st and change the return to FC from Winnipeg and retain 50% and the Jets can take him as a dump and healthy scratch him.

Yeah, the Leafs have such a great future on the farm right now (that was sarcasm)
