I don't think anyone in the top 3 is trading back. None of the teams there have needs that are met by the surplus that OTT has to offer (LHD and lower picks) they need the star power. Maybe Anaheim would take it if Leshunov gets taken at 2OA.

After that, you might get your wish.

CHI would have zero interst in Chychrun. But, even just based on the value, he would NOT be enough to move from 7th to 2nd.

1 year of chychrun isn't gonna move the needle for any of these teams that are far from competing.

So, basically, you'd rather have nothing and draft the same guy at #6 that you would at #7.

I can't even begin to fathom what your other priorities are for the Habs ...

Do you even know the name of the guy you want ?

Im sure the habs do. Your logic was stupid to begin with. Rhe habs have multiple 1sts the next 2 years and 8 2nds and 3rds. A 3rd doesnt move the needle for them not getting to pick exactly what they want.

The last pure pick swap that high was 2008 with the leafs and islanders (lol).

It hasnt happened in 15 years because teams if they are moving off a top end potentially franchise altering prospect they want a current top end player. Not a prospect with a slightly lower ceiling and chance of being elite and some spare change

moving up one picks makes no sense for the sens... if the habs think their guy will be there a pick back...so will the sens!

I asked you for the name of the guy you want at #6 overall.

And your only answer is "whoever the Habs want".

So, either you don't know or refuse to answer.

Your logic is so stupid that it's non-existent.

              I'll ask you again.

Who is the name of the player you want at #6 ?

I'll even tell you if Ottawa wants him at #7.

Montreal kicks in Slafkovsky for that asinine remark.

I’d bet 20$ the top 7 is going to end up like this

              1 - Celebrini (SJ)
              2 - Lindstrom (CHI)
              3 - Levshunov (ANA)
              4 - Demidov (CBJ)
              5 - Dickinson (ARI)
              6 - Eiserman (MTL)
              7 - Parekh (OTT)

It did when OTT wanted Logan Brown.

Black61 can't answer that simple question.

              Can you ?
