Description
#53 turned the puck over too much this season. Also hoping he finds better balance in the offseason and falls down a lot less, the skating needs improvement.

Hawks have no interest in that, too much money, too much term, and Jason Dickinson is a better player.

Don’t see a reason for the Blues to do that. Sure on paper it removes a year off of the cap commitment. But those are two players who don’t move the puck very well and we already have a bit of a deficiency in that department on our backend.

Faulk should be pretty easily tradeable after next season with the movement clause becoming limited.

I don't think Fleury does that tbh. Also because of Cap i think the Avs consider that offer, but idk

Here's the thing. If the Rangers actually wanted Faulk and would be willing to give up their skipper to get him, shouldn't the Blues just go deal with the Rangers? They could retain on Trouba, strike a 3rd party deal to move him along and get actual good stuff they want without having to take Holl back.

Why are the Sharks buying out Fabbri? His contract ends after next season and they don't exactly need the cap space.

NYR decline. Falk contract is worse than trouba's. It's an extra year.

Sure. The money may not exactly "matter" to CHI, but, more importantly, the money MATTERS to DET. What is that cap space for the next three seasons worth to DET? Because that will be your price to dump his contract. If you aren't willing to pay it, then keep him. But CHI certainly isn't paying for him, or Fabbri, or Husso, or Holl, or Maata, or Chiarot.

    Well said.

If there was only 1-2 years left on Copp's contract, maybe there's a deal to be made, but that 3rd year is a dealbreaker.

If COL trades Colton it won’t be for a guy that needs a new contract, it will be for $4M in cap space. Easy no.
