Who do you think is a roster player that plays fairly often, but is mostly useless? I think Chris Neil was one of these people. Ryan Reaves has a job but is sort of useless otherwise.
To tell the truth, none of these guys are useless ... but i guy who i don't see why he's in the NHL, Tom Sestito might go in that category, though he doesn't play that often.

It's Doctor, not Dpctor. Do you not have anything better to contribute to the discussion that you have to correct spelling? Or has posting 20+ comments per thread gotten a bit tedious for you?

Reaves deserves more credit. The Blues checking line had an impact in almost every game last year, sustaining offensive zone time and tilting the ice.
The most useless Blue is Carl Gunnarsson. You can look at anything - advanced stats, conventional stats, no stats/eye test - and you'll notice that he just doesn't do much. Not a bad guy to have on the 3rd pair because he doesn't make many mistakes, but he's still pretty useless.

Matt Beleskey, was Jimmy Hayes before he was bought out
I wouldn't say Bels is useless. The guy plays a heavy two-way game and had a down year due to injury. I'm actually expecting a better year out of him, maybe a 15/15 season on the 3rd line.
