If that's the price, then he's welcome to stay on the Bolts.

I’ll come back to this when we get Montreal’s first. And you’re wack af for making a point about 50+ when he had 49 in 68 this year.

What???

This is the first time I've seen a 30 goal scorer who's highest season total was 26 and only broke 20 goals once in 8 seasontears of joy

He'll be 32 on the only position Devils have depth and prospects in. I don't see it as a fit. It might work as a three way deal where we obtain 50% salary to move him somewhere else and get a prospect or a good pick.

I like Killlorn, but this is right. He is not a 30 goal scorer. He's 30 years old, and has never topped 20 goals in a season untill this past year, where he shot 20%. Maybe someone pays a first for it, but it is not a first for a 30 goal scorer.

In a normal year, at the deadline? Definitely. But when you have two top players needing contracts and barely gave cap room for one, never mind filling out the roster, a mntc, AND many other suitors not having space even if they wanted him? I think its a second, possibly an extra pick/mid range prospect

I don't think any Montreal fans are gonna deny we need scoring before anything else, but calling Killorn a 30 goal scorer is a joke.

He's going to play in both NJ and MTL? That's incredible! Anyhow, Tampa needs to trade him so if they're waiting for an offer of a 1st for just him, they're going to be very disappointed to not be able to keep one of those RFA's they'd prefer to keep. But I have a solution! How about Killorn, Cernak and a 2021 1st plus Tyson Jost or a decent prospect from COL? Solves some issues for Tampa with the cap, helps them re-sign their priority RFA's (Cirelli and Sergy) and maybe means they can keep someone like Shatty. I know it may not be what you'd want for those guys but the Bolts are in serious need of cap space.

You aren't trading for the other 7 years that he didn't score 50

In a perfect world (for you/Tampa), yes. But the fact of the matter is that there are other factors that can impact the type of return they will get. Could/might he return a 1st? Sure; but it's also easy to see why he might not.

Doubtful, you might move him to Colorado though. They might even give you a 21 1st.

No you’re trading for next year’s sub 20 goal season. Think he might bring back a 21 1st but it will have to be a competitive team with space.

Killorn is good and valuable to Tampa and finally got 2nd line and PP time this year and playoffs .. hence the points. Is he worth a 1st is the question..

You aren't trading for what he did five years ago but rather what he did last year and maybe the few years before to have a solid track record.
