Even if Ottawa drafts Power, there's no need to make any trade yet. First off, you don't know what you have in Power or Sanderson yet. Realistically, even if Power AND Sanderson can come in and be top pair two way D, AND Brannstrom takes a step and becomes an elite offensive LD next year, you would still have two full years to let Power and Sanderson grow while still on their ELCs, then make that decision later. For right now, it would be frankly insane to make any kind of moves involving a bonafide 1D based on having really good prospects who haven't even played NHL Games.
Even trading Sanderson would be completely silly at this point. Even if you're dead sure that Power will be better than Sanderson, you can't know that until they're NHL players. It would be like how the Isles drafted Roberto Luongo 4th overall, then a few years later drafted Rick Dipietro 1st overall. Then they traded Luongo because "who needs Luongo, we have Rick DiPietro".
Also, even if Ottawa has their 4 best Dman all being lefties, that's... fine? Like if they're all sick, who cares?
