Because then the scoring issue will get worse. If Kadri is the 1c who becomes the 2 and 3c. Compher and Helm, yeah no that wont be a good idea. Adding Strome allows for balance as it allows Kadri to stay on line 2 and Strome has experience with top wings so it should work out well in the end.

i was thinking if Kadri's the 1C then Strome is the 2C, and then whoever is the 3 and 4 C normally stay where they are
but i do see your point

Kadri and Burakovsky have chemistry and putting a new guy like strome to carry a line could really hurt them. Strome though can slot into line one as Landeskog and Rantanen can do the majority of the work with him just taking faceoffs and giving them the puck. Kind of like what Stephenson does in Vegas.
