Sens should claim NAK. Everybody’s got COVID, might as well bring in a solid bottom six guy. Definitely better than the likes of Agozzino, Sabourin, Shaw, Kelly, etc. I do find the Sens page on here quite comical though lol, this has gotta be close to the record for players on the top half of the page.

Tucker Poolman suspended two games for swinging his stick at the head of Kieffer Sherwood last night.

Jim Benning (if hes still GM) will buy him out then go sign his Nephew to the exact same deal in the 2022 offseason

He wasnt fired after letting Toffoli, Tanev, and Markstrom go so yeah I think they stuck with him

Cause when you chose Virtanen over Toffoli (whose now in the KHL), Holtby over Markstrom (whose in Dallas now), and Schnmidt over Tanev (whose in Winnipeg now) that would be a good enough reason to fire him.

Quick question about Wilson. Was he a highly rated player in the draft. And what was his potential

Love hearing the on ice chatter, be cool to see more of that. Also, Terry is a machine right now!

Quickly went through some 2012 mock drafts and the general vibe I got was that the Capitals reached a bit for Wilson. At worst he was projected for the early second round but at best he was around 18-20.

Bob McKenzie had him at 18th, The Hockey Writers put him at 25th. Can't find much about his potential but I'd wager he would've been considered a top 6 power forward at best. Only notes I could find about his game were he needed to improve his offense.

also another fun fact 4 u: Forsberg was projected to go as high as 2nd and rarely fell out of the top 10. Would've been a shame to draft a player like that at 11th and trade him.

June, 2012 – Tom Wilson is the fiercest player available in this draft class with his ability to fight and play an intimidating physical game. His offensive skill set is undetermined at this point by the big power forward showed some flashes of brilliance in the 2012 OHL Playoffs and could thrive with more responsibility next season. Fantasy Outlook: B- Wilson is one of the better multi-cat options out there as he can put up both points and penalty minutes. Breaking into the Caps top-six will be difficult however.

While I was looking up 2012 draft stuff I came across a review of it from the National Post, and some paragraphs that have aged like Blake Comeau
