Jackets lose, big number - 0 against the Carolina Hurricanes.

-I just knew that giving an AHL goalie both ends of a back-to-back series was a bad idea.

-I guess I was right to panic about our best defenseman being gone. We couldn’t get out of our own zone AT ALL.

-Seth Jarvis decided to fight Max. Bob didn’t seem too enthralled by it. I really expected him to start borderline yelling about how there was a fight. All he said was “and there they go.” I guess he’s used to this.

-Danforth drops down to block a shot, and it bounces off of his stick up over the glass. For a reason that not even the smartest of scientists know, Danforth is sent to the box for delay of game. That was entirely incidental and they knew it. On the next faceoff, Carolina scores. Delay of game has become the NHL equivalent to the NFL’s catch rules.

-Two very quick goals, and I’m outta there. They’re screwed.

Honestly, getting Pulju treatment wouldn't probably be that bad for his production. He seems like a player who needs success to feed his confidence, which would lead to more success.

I agree , the Rangers really screwed him by keeping him in the NHL in his D+1. He’s a good player right now, but he’s headed towards being an average 2nd line F. The offense isn’t there despite playing with panarin and strome

I think he needs to just get better at hockey

The fact that he's barely producing while playing with good players in the Rangers top 6 is VERY concerning

My friend got a little to drunk at the party today but made a really funny comment

He said Stan Bowman should be GM of the year for actually getting full value for Duncan Keith...

I told him yeah but Bowman re-signed I dont think its possible now lul

He went fine give it to Lou tears of joy

Not gonna lie if Bowman was still GM of the Hawks (Dont want it for the evil he did up to that point) he would be a strong contender for it lul. As when was the last time you saw a GM get full value for a cap dump...

Only thing that comes semi close is Dubas getting something for Ritchie...

To bad DJ Smith hates Brannstrom as if he was used more and became a star top 4 Dman could have balanced it out. But hes never given a full opportunity to do so as Smith would rather play 3rd pair grinders.

To be fair Stone was a UFA but ya, it’s been an atrocious trade for Ottawa.

The more I watch Hagel the more I want him on the Leafs lul

I know it could cost Robertson but 1.5mill x 2.5 years is a risk I would take.

According to the hawks ACGM guys it will cost a top prospect (which I had a couple of them say Robertson isn’t) and a first.

I think the Blackhakws said he's unavailable
But if they traded him, they would get a massive return (they should trade him)

Been talking to a lot of the big hawks guys who are around the site (exo, wade, chihwk, among others) and they were perfectly fine with Robertson and a 1st. Heck they are the ones sometimes posting it lul. Better than the De-Haan for a second thats for sure lul.

As its pretty on par with what Coleman got for the devils 2 years ago.

While losing Robertson would suck Hagel at 1.5mill for what he can do is a gamble I would take.

Ok right I think it was just one guy (he was a pretty respectable guy though). Also you said Robertson, and didn’t specify that there would be a first.

In general if we cant get him apparently we are looking at other options including 3 guys from CBJ (Domi, Texier, Roslavic). Other than them guys like Stasney and Copp have also been looked into along with JT Miller lul. Plenty of options but no idea who its gonna be.

Kind of hoping its not Domi as that to me will be a Foligno moment minus the big cost "oh my daddy was a leaf"....

Texier or Copp would be nice though.

Dont think I have seen multiple double hat tricks in a season in a long time.

First one this year --> Rust + Rodrigues for Pittsburgh Jan 2, 2022

Second one --> Hagel + Kane for Chicago February 25, 2022
