It’s insane that they still try to justify the trade. The worst takes are that they traded him because of Dobson. Dobson is a RHD, Toews is a LHD.

They could have easily bought out Leddy (saved 4.6 mill) to sign Toews. The isles chose to move him, they didn’t have to. Flat cap had nothing to do with it
