Detroit rejects, You did this before and we told you we want no part of Carey Price, For his injury history he's grossly overpriced at his age now he'll be trending down big time. Even at 4 x $6,000,000 we've no use for Price and Nedeljkovic isn't happening he's living in the Detroit area and has already said that he will only sign long term with Detroit. And you can keep Petry at this stage of our rebuild he's more of a liability then an asset. And FWIW there's a 0% chance that Carey Price would ever waive his NMC for Detroit.

No one is buying a goalie who isn't on the ice. Making it the off-season doesn't change that. Petry you can at least make a case for but not price.

With the return of Edler coming and Maata looking serviceable, Kulak to the Kings is the wrong destination.

Calgary trade is awful for Calgary. Last I heard the price was a 1st not a two top prospects and a good player. Even Toffoli didn't return that much.

I'd say that if Flames traded those three for Ben Chiarot it might be a contender for the worst trade ever made in the history of this league.

At the trade deadline when buying teams are desperately looking for D-men with playoff experience on the cheap, yes he will. A first rd pick and an excellent prospect for Chiarot ... absolutely

If he was the only LD available but at this point he isnt even the best LD available at the deadline, Would be thrilled if they got that package back but thats not going to happen. Also why would we throw harris in on that arizona deal, habs arent going to be moving Price especially not in that crazy scenario. Moving out Petry is atleast a realistic option depending on the package we get back, byron may be someone we can get a team to take on for a pick or two and drouin might be able to get dealt in the offseason with some retention if needed but Price is not going to be moved it doesnt make any sense for the habs given the amount they would need to retain and the massive uncertainty around him.

If habs can get a 1st for a chiarot thats a win for them would a rather pull the trigger on that deal then wait and hope one team is willing to over pay in the final hour and risk getting nothing for him too me that the only way they can truly fail at the deadline.
