Yeah I don’t see Geekie as a 1C maybe 2C. So why the heck would u pick him over a Lekkerimaki or Nazar? I wouldn’t.

Yurov has 0 PTS in the KHL . He’s 18 years old not 17. Also there’s this whole uncertainty with Russian players, I wouldn’t pick him in the top 10

Yurov's been on the 4th line of a KHL team for a whole year, points don't show the picture for him, he's very well rounded and if he'd actually get time to showcase his skills, he'd be ranked higher by most

But there’s always these guys like Kemell that are high offensive talents but then you hav the guys that are rounded out but have lower offensive ceilings. I just hope Yurov isn’t another Kravtsov

I don't think being Russian should factor into rankings just yet, too early to tell imo how GM's will decide, however, if the league says something or we get someone like a McKenzie/Button or NHL CS that have good connections to NHL GM's and scouts, then i'd factor it in

I was soooo unimpressed watching Wright play the other day. I know it's just one game, but when someone is unanimously Projected to go number one in the NHL draft, you assume you'd be able to notice them on the ice and they'd be noticably better than the rest. I didn't get that feeling, he played average like the rest of them, I was more impressed with his linemate than him.

I'm not saying he won't go number one, he should, but I was just simply dissapointed.

I will say the first two Sharks goals were weak af and I’m disappointed the Flames somehow managed to choke after I stopped watching though


Ah, Gregor and Merkley created/ gave the Sharks the win (3,4 goals).

That and Markstrom had a bad night whereas Reimer locked it down after his own leaks.

Missing a full season due to Covid may play a part in this, who knows, he doesn't necessarily have a wow factor and his intensity consistency could use a boost but he's still an amazing prospect

Marian Studenic was nice underrated pick up for DAL. He has looked really good since joining the lineup

I agree, not only is his skating bad but he’s not really a line driver. He reminds of a more skilled Otto koivula lol
