I guess they think Makar pushed the puck ahead and skated onto it, so he wasn’t technically touching it between when it crossed the line and when Nichuskin tagged up. Probably not intentional for the purpose of staying onside (he obviously meant to push it forward to skate onto it) but it worked out really well for him lol

Could also have been that he wasn’t “in control” due to it rolling?

I watched that clip in very slow motion. Yeah he did it in a way where he didnt tough it once it crossed.

But anyways more playoff controversy who would have guessed lul

If Makar has possession, Nichushkin is offside. If Makar doesn't have possession, Nichushkin is offside and Makar has to come back and tag up himself before touching the puck... there is no scenario that that is an onside play

Yeah but had possession to be in that position. I get the “idea” but I could also get the idea of “P*tins crazy w*r”. Both can be said as right “ideas” by someone but they clearly are ****ing wrong lol.
