Played 10 games, and got 1 points. He signed for 3,2m, after his contract is up, I have no doubt he'll return to the KHL, as no one would want him. He should've gone to Toronto or Edmonton for cheap, better situation for him.

I’m aware it just doesn’t make sense for them to give Gaudreau 10 mill when they have multiple players in the top 6 with a similar play style. Devils won’t be contenders for another 2-3 years anyways so I just don’t see the point in signing a 29 year old to a big contract.
