What do you think a Fair PLD trade would be.

And a fair Tkchuk trade. I’m interested in your thoughts

Little late but what are those trades lately lmao? A team could have both Pacioretty + Bjorkstrand for a big total of a 3rd and a 4th

Kerfoot Holl and Robertson for Miller sounding more and more realistic by the day. Trading 3 cap dumps for your one bigger cap dump!

This Bjorkstrand move is probably the most mind boggling move we've had this offseason, and we have had lot of weird sh*t happening.

Kekäläinen is single handedly responsible for the biggest W of the offseason (Gaudreau signing) as well as the greatest L of the offseason (Bjorkstrand trade).

I can't get a read on this guy. Like, if I were a CBJ fan I'd be super excited and absolutely furious at the same time.

After watching the first episode of Welcome to the NHL I'm convinced that Juraj is going to be sick. Wright isn't going to be very good IMO...don't like the kids attitude...just quick judging based off the way he is talking in the video.

Poor Cooley dude .... Guy was so nervous

That’s why teams passed up on him. If I was going to be interviewed I would be social awkward and mumble but that’s just me

Yea....also love that some Habs fans told Juraj they hope he likes NJ.

Also, last cocky first overall player? Yakopov?

Also, no question Wright stared down MTL, he thought he was guaranteed

I think he is an idiot who will come to regret both the Gaudreau contract and even more so this trade

I doubt the first but I definitely agree with the second point.

I want to think that Yakupov could've had a good career if was drafted outside of Edmonton, but the more I think about it the more I believe the problem was with him and not any individual organization.

Eakin's disaster tenure with Edmonton may have contributed to him not improving but the dude was so far up his own ass, I doubt Mike Keenan would've set him straight.

Don’t forget the Gudbranson contract lol. He signed the best contract, the worst contract, and made the worst trade. Incoming best trade when he trades a 7th round pick for Puljujarvi lol

Personally I still think Chiarot contract was worse.

Gudbranson is at least a RHD which makes him a bit of a special case.

Chiarot has a bigger name value and is deployed as a 1st pairing defenseman (not saying he should). Gudbranson had one good season in a third pairing role and was basically a cap dump at the same $4M AAV two seasons ago

Worst FA signings

1. Chiarot
2. Gudbranson
3. Leddy

Need to wait and see how the season goes

1. Mikheyev
2. Marchment

Gudbranson #1 simply because of the aftermath of his signing (pushing a Bjorkstrand out for basically nothing)

I mean Gudbranson does also have name value. Guy is known as former 3rd overall pick and is perceived to be a strong defensive D-man with physicality. These two, Chiarot and Gudbranson, are basically equal D-men, Gudbranson have just represented teams that have been needing cap space more, hence he has been traded whopping 5 times during his career.

He took a one year deal to "prove his reputation", did relatively well, and got the same money from what he earned in the past.

Note that in my opinion both of them are overrated D-men with little redeeming qualities.

I don't think their name value are comparable at all tbh. Both contracts are awful but the least worse is the one that is easier to get rid of, and Chiarot was just traded for a 1st+. Don't think anyone would have offered that for Gudbranson was he made available.
