I'm sure he knows. The Jets' future is looking bleak, and they seem to be doing nothing, so there's not much for a Jets fan to do but wish. The Jets should manage Helly's load since he plays a ton anyways but do it strategically so that they can tank.

Carolina's response would get the organization multiple infractions. Jarvis > Dubois. Necas isn't, so there's that. Pesce > Dubois. Pesce would instantly be WPG's best D man. This is LAUGHABLE.

Canes proceed to counter with Connor half retained and Ehlers half retained for a 6th round pick. Canes have no need for Dubois, especially since he would likely only be a rental. Both Pesce and Jarvis are more valuable to the Canes than Dubois ever would be, not to mention just straight up better. Jarvis was only 21 points off of Dubois’ career high of 61 points as a 19 year old rookie. And Pesce would be the Jets best dman. Canes aren’t trading either for an overrated Center they don’t need that will just walk the first chance he gets. And you want the Canes to add Necas and take on spare change found in the team couch? Maybe do some research before just resorting to trolling.

The only Nylander to the Jets trades that would interest the Leafs would be

A) Nylander for Ehlers

B) Nylander++ for Hellebuyck

All would be massive jets Ws except Philly I love Sanheim but Risto is such a negative value

Sorry to pile on, but It’s hard to find players less likely to be a target for the Canes than PLD. Unless the Jets would be willing to Knights/Patches a trade for absolutely nothing - Canes wouldn’t give any assets to inherit the PLD drama and situation.

Jets took a huge L in that trade. Gonna end up with almost nothing to show for trading Laine and Roslavic
