Sarah Nurse. Honestly wish they coordinated the people on the cover a little better like having 2 young and up and coming players. I thought Makar was most deserving of the cover.

They should’ve just sticked with the regular cover and went for Makar.

But wtv, I’ll continue playing the way better games like NHL 14.

They used to make entirely different covers for the Scandinavian countries with different players for NHL 19 and NHL 20. I want them to do that again so Laine can be on the cover of a Chel game again.

Although it would probably go to either Miro Heiskanen and/or Elias Pettersson

Zegras doesn’t deserve a cover (yet). Nurse is DEFINITELY deserving of a cover. One of the best players in the world on the women’s side. Zegras doesn’t fall into that category on the men’s side, but at least he does cool sh*t sometimes I guess.

IMO they should’ve stuck with the regular cover and had Makar, but two people isn’t much of a problem, it’s the way that they executed it.

If you’re to put the best woman player, you should put the best men’s player too, not someone who’s not even a top 50 NHL player and couldn’t even win rookie of the year.

Sure Zegras is the flashiest player in the league, but he isn’t the best, which defeats the whole purpose of having two people on the cover (best men and woman).

And don’t even get me started on the background…

Sarah Nurse (born January 4, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player of the Canadian women's national ice hockey team and an independent member of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA). She made her debut with the national team at the 2015 4 Nations Cup. In 2018, she represented Canada at the 2018 Winter Olympics where she won a silver medal. Her success continued as she scored the opening goal in the 2022 Gold medal game where Team Canada defeated the United States 3-2.

Nurse was drafted second overall by the Toronto Furies in the 2018 CWHL Draft.

Nurse was featured on the June 2021 cover of Elle Canada along with Hanna Bunton and Brigette Lacquette.

Nurse is set to appear as a guest judge in an upcoming episode of the third season of Canada's Drag Race, airing in summer 2022.

Zegras is a 21 year old American playing in Anaheim
Nurse is a 27 year old Canadian playing in Toronto

Mackinnon would have been a better option or Makar

Also having the team Canada logo on the cover after their recent controversy is bold
