That sucks, last year he broke his finger and took a leave of absence, reason at the time was a death in the family, now there’s more. Wish all the best to Texier, what this does mean for CBJ though is they now have 1 less player in their forward logjam and they free up 1.525

Arizona dont got no money though lul so what max also I doubt a 5000 seat Arena will appeal to him

Like nobody on their team makes 50+ mill in Signing Bonuses and SB are basically the future of new deals as why wait till the end to make your money when you can get the majority at the start

Kings are the only real threat rn but I feel they will focus more on development from within

meh if he waits in 2025 once JT retires Leafs will have 11mill to spend on top of whatever the cap limit is on a really good 2c (names available Draisaitl, Mcdavid, Eichel, etc)

Kind of would be funny if Leafs took one of Edmonton's big 2 considering Edmonton just loves to take our stuff would in a sense be a very indirect trade wink

So just insert one of those C's as the 2c behind Matthews
