Excuse me, but Kieffer Sherwood is currently 2nd in the league in goals AND points. Put some respect on his name smh.

To be fair, he should be top 6 in the NHL. Niederreiter-Granlund/RyJo-Tomasino should be the second line, Kiefer Sherwood is there but there’s really no good explanation as to why

@Juiceman what’s up with Garland? Is he playing on Wednesday or is he out?

@TZ11 how did McTavish look in camp? Think he sticks all year in a top 9 role, ends up with like 45+ points? I noticed on DFO he’s currently 2LW, but he wasn’t on either PP unit, is that accurate?

Garland is good. Had a maintenance day and was back on the ice today full contact. He was never injured, probably just needed a day off to get rested. He will be playing on Wednesday. Boeser will potentially also be playing on Wednesday

Philly managed to pull one of the worst roster in the league by using full salary cap and ending with a 20 men roster lmao

Any big surprises with the final rosters? I saw Nick Robertson didn't make it. Any other surprises? Maybe that didn't surprise some people. IDK.

Way too many young prospects being rushes to the NHL. Most of them aren't going to produce very well.

Nick made the roster he is just a cap casualty. Will be called up probably as an emergency player or something. I think.

Does anybody know what happens if a team goes over the salary cap limit and doesn't make any moves to get under? Do they get forced to move somebody down?

He looked really good offensively so I was definitely surprised. I expect him to make an impact this season.

Can't wait to see Torts blow up in front of the media. My guess is Tony D"Angelo and Torts won't stand each other.

Their best player gets sent to the Devils for free


NHL would not allow it. They would have to make a transaction/clear money or they can't play a game

I guess they wouldn't be allowed to play with a roster that's over the cap. They'd be forced to forfeit any game.

Do the leafs have the most Swedish players? They have 4 lol, that has to be at least close to the top(or at least, they will have 4 when Lili is healthy).

Also, do you mean 3 instead of 6 for the lowest American players?

I meant 6 different teams. Lowest is 3, yes.

Detroit & New Jersey both have the most Swedish players with 5. 4 Different teams have 4.

Oilers have 0 Russians, is that the lowest in league or are there other teams with 0 Russian players?

Edit: the Oilers also only have 3 Americans (Campbell, Yamo, Ryan) on the current roster not 6

Yeah meant 6 different teams had the lowest which was 3 each.

22 teams have a Russian Player so that would mean 10 do not.

They might fetch some assets as 1 year UFA rentals at the trade deadline.
And Sanjose can even retain salary on one of them.
